Pull the reduced basket out of the dishwasher and separate it. Unscrew the tab that holds the top sprayer and pull the sprayer out from under the top rack. Remove the bottom sprayer and separate the parts of the sprayer. Place the sprayer in the sink. An old toothbrush is stiff enough to loosen dirt and small enough to get into small nooks and crannies. Therefore, you could start the cleaning process piece by piece.

Scrub and Rinse Out the Dishwasher

Clean the Bottom of the Dishwasher

You should clean the bottom of the dishwasher also. It gives a clean look to the kitchen sink. Use a classic rag or paper towel and then remove food debris from the bottom of the dishwasher. Rinsing the areas with water while running the dishwasher will remove loose dirt and help you determine where to focus. Therefore, the dishwasher would be clean inside out.

Move the Spray Nozzles

Reset the spray nozzles on the dishwasher. Add 2 cups of white vinegar to the bottom and run the dishwasher on the hottest setting. Running the dishwasher should have dissolved any remaining dirt from the pipes and appliance. The unsightly appearance of your dishes and glasses is due to hard water build up in the dishwasher. The best thing to do is to add a dishwasher booster to each load. This step helps you check the dishwasher condition. Therefore, you won’t encounter some issues with your kitchen sink.
